An established and rapidly scaling SaaS company is seeking a Head of Legal & Compliance to lead all legal, regulatory, and governance functions during an exciting period of growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, this strategic leader will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board, guiding the company through complex commercial, compliance, and operational matters.

The Head of Legal & Compliance will oversee the full spectrum of legal responsibilities, including commercial contracting, data privacy, employment law, corporate governance, and risk management. The ideal candidate brings a pragmatic, business-minded approach to problem solving and thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment where strategic foresight and operational execution are equally important.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s chief legal advisor, providing counsel on strategy, operations, and governance.

• Develop and oversee corporate legal policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management programs.

• Lead contract strategy and negotiation across customer, vendor, and partnership relationships.

• Manage corporate governance, entity management, and securities compliance.

• Advise on employment law, privacy, and intellectual property protection.

• Oversee outside counsel and ensure efficient, cost-effective legal support.

• Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, capital raising, and commercial expansion.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law.

• 8+ years of progressive legal experience, including in-house exposure within a technology or SaaS company.

• Strong foundation in commercial transactions, data privacy, employment law, and corporate governance.

• Proven ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
